The Kiwanis of the Colorado River is committed to enhancing the well-being of children by providing them with essential sleeping arrangements. Through their bed building program, they construct and deliver beds to children aged 3 to 17 in the Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Topock, Laughlin, NV, and Needles, CA areas. Each donated bed includes a twin bed frame, mattress, bedding, and a stuffed teddy bear, with the option to convert into a bunk bed. This initiative not only furnishes a comfortable and safe sleeping environment but also significantly improves the children's quality of life. Applications for the upcoming November 2024 bed build are currently open for those in need.
