He transformed Solid Power, Inc. from a university project into a leading name in ASSB rechargeable batteries, now set for significant achievements under a solid leadership team. Additionally, he co-founded Roccor, which under his guidance became a top provider of cost-effective satellite components, later acquired by Redwire Space in 2020. Beyond business, Doug takes pride in the growth and success of his teams and looks forward to engaging in philanthropic efforts in his native Albuquerque, NM, while maintaining ties in Colorado for outdoor activities.
