Grand Rides Bike Share, a free community bike share program in Greater Grand Forks, was launched in 2019 with the collaboration of local partners and initially managed by a national company. Following the challenges of 2020, the Downtown Development Association (DDA) took over its operations, leading to significant growth and success. The program now manages 60 bikes across Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. Grand Rides offers convenient dock locations throughout the city, and users can also park bikes at any public bike rack.
