Dollarization in Caracas fell 11.4 points in 5 months
The decrease in payments in dollars in the capital is mainly due to the entry into force of the tax on large financial transactions, according to Ecoanal?tica.
A recent report by Ecoanal?tica revealed that during March, 48.4% of payments in commercial establishments in Caracas were made in dollars. This figure represented a decrease of 11.4 percentage points compared to what was registered in October of last year when it reached 59.8%.
