36 miles from Austin. Elevation 6500 feet. 24 single sites and two group sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pine Creek, a mountain stream, runs through the campground. Hunting and fishing are nearby. There is also an undeveloped campsite along Barley Creek. Open year-round, weather permitting. Camping, picnicking, restrooms, trailer sites, fishing. Located at the north end of the wilderness, 5.5 miles west of SR376, on FS#002.
