The Altar Guild consists of members of the congregation who come together to care for and set up the Lords Table and the sanctuary for all services in the church.
Guild members are divided into teams who are scheduled on a rotating basis.
By way of example, the Altar Guild prepares and sets up the chalices, ciboria, linens, cruets, plates and all items for a service of Holy Eucharist. The Altar Guild are like church mice who work quietly behind the scenes before and after every service to support a smooth, prayerful experience for all worshipers.
It is an important, joyful, and caring ministry integral to our worship of the Lord.
