Renewable Energy

Climate change is a consequential reality. We believe the United States must take the lead in transitioning to a clean energy future both in energy production and in energy efficiency because global climate change is a time-sensitive threat to human health, the environment, population stabilization, and the world economy.

According to the Energy Information Administration, in 2018 US fossil-fueled power plants emitted approximately 5.7 billion metric tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. Renewable energy helps address this issue. More than 76.3 million metric tons of CO2 is reduced annually by U.S. solar energy production.  Renewable energy reduces air pollution, eliminates carbon emissions from energy production, and is sustainable for future generations.
