The Animal & Veterinary Science program at SSHS provides students with the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of animal care and veterinary practices. To earn credit, students must complete courses such as Animal Science 1, Veterinary Assistant 1, and Animal Science 2. Additionally, students can choose from a variety of elective courses, including Equine Science, Business Communications, and even an internship in a related field, helping them build skills for a future career in animal care.
